Okay, fellas, this is a new story I'm working on. This is only Monday of the week, so there will be more. I'm thinking since the chapters will be so short, I'll either try to put more in to one day, or put the whole thing together to make a really long one-shot. Tell me what you guys think, okies?
Disclaimer: I don't own Marvel, or the X-Men.
A Weeks Worth of Meetings takes place in the X-Men movieverse. The Gambit used in the movie is the one in my story, only I may give him more of the accent he should have had in the movie. I'm not dissing Taylor Kitsch's work as Gambit (cuz he had me burnin' hot on the big screen ;) but his accent was a bit off. Not necessarily his fault as the Cajun accent is a difficult one to master.
The base of this story is that we have Just-lost-the-Cure-and-just-about-to-break-up-with-her-boyfriend Rogue, who has just recently gotten back in to the habit of putting her gloves on in the mornings. Since her powers had such an extended break from use, they came back stronger than ever. Now a simple touch doesn't just reach the surface of someone's mind, it reaches deep and pulls things out that the person may not have thought of in years. Each day of the week, she touches Logan in someway and gets just a little bit more of his past stuck in her mind each time. And a few of those times, she sees a handsome man, smiling one moment and fighting with everything he's got the next. She becomes intrigued with the man named Remy LeBeau and wishes she could see him just once. Logan on the other hand, doesn't want Rogue to get her hopes up over something that would never work out even if they did meet up.
